Performance Prep was opened in Sept. 1981
as a high performance installation and repair facility. At that time a
high performance parts shop occupied the front area of the present shop,
by 1982 we had totally outgrown the original shop and we assumed the
lease on the large rear building and the front showroom.

The need for a well
equipped, full service, upscale repair facility in the area was pretty
obvious, so we tooled and equipped to provide what we call "proper
automotive care and repair". Everything from basic maintenance to
major engine and drive train repair. Over the years Performance Prep has taken the steps to keep up with the ever
changing automotive technology,
education, tooling, equipment and environmental compliance of today's
automotive world. All technicians are ASE "master certified".
All equipment is state of the art and all parts are OEM quality or
better.
We offer complete
maintenance and repair on most makes and models, domestic or import, as
well as light truck and motor homes. Performance work is still a major
part of our world as well, from horse power engines to lap-top
programmable fuel injection systems.

Chad
McCarville
Chad has an extensive
background in import repairs & performance modifications.
He
enjoys an occasional drift competition, and still wears his hat backwards
when Tom Turner isn’t paying attention (just kidding…). Chad is also an avid fan of online gaming,
and can be found after hours somewhere in the Puyallup vicinity.
